Infertility Support

You may be trying to fall pregnant for the first time, or are already parents who would like more children, or have not been able to carry a baby to term. Infertility can be a stressful and frustrating experience for everyone involved. From dealing with the emotional roller coaster, the pressure of IVF treatment cycles, friends falling pregnant or the pain of shattered dreams, couples who experience infertility need to know that they're not alone. As most lifestyle factors can be modified, providing support in making healthy lifestyle changes can actually promote fertility.

Infertility is usually defined as not being able to get pregnant. A broader view of infertility includes not being able to carry a pregnancy to term.

Sometimes, the simple dreams are the ones that mean the most to us and if difficulties arise they can also be the most frustrating to make come true. It is estimated that as many as 1 in 6 couples* have trouble getting pregnant. The diagnosis of infertility can be completely devastating, and it can be a lonely experience; however there are options to explore in potentially overcoming infertility and we can support you to understand and explore all these to make an informed decision going forward in your life. Contact our centre for support.
