Adoption

distantcouple 250Are you facing an unplanned pregnancy, but you’re not ready for parenthood? You may feel that you’re too young to be a parent, you may be studying or trying to establish a career, and are not able to support a baby financially. Perhaps you feel that you don’t have the support of your family or partner or that you don’t want to be a single parent. Adoption is another option to consider. Some adoptions allow for contact of the biological mother with her baby and adoptive parents.

Information about the process of adopting out has become scarce, when people talk about a woman having the right to choose, they often forget about her right to the opportunity, information and support to adopt out her baby.

At The Gianna Centre we will support you in exploring all of your options, including adoption, and will continue to support and assist you no matter what you decide to do.

For further information about adoption please contact us or visit the Anglicare Victoria website for further information.
